ABOUT THE PTO
MONTHLY PTO MEETINGS
Please join us for our monthly PTO Meetings held the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM. Meetings sometimes shift due to holidays or school recesses, so check the News & Events tab for upcoming dates.
Due to COVID-19, meetings will be held via Zoom or outdoors at Memorial School as safety and weather permit. To stay informed on location updates and/or receive Zoom links, send us an email: Memorialptoupton@gmail.com
Ways to Volunteer & Documents
Because volunteers work with children, all volunteers are required to submit a Criminal Offender Records Information (CORI) application and undergo a background check.
*Please note that due to COVID-19, there will likely be very few in-person volunteer opportunities for the near future. However, we welcome your participation as we work behind the scenes to support Memorial students and staff- the upside is that much of the work can be done from home!

Volunteers needed to help students pick out books during their book fair time. We typically like to staff between 3-5 parents per class depending on grade. Please feel free to volunteer for your child’s library time. You can also volunteer to help other classrooms too.
Book Fair Committee
The book fair committee is comprised of 3-6 individuals who are responsible for the planning, set-up, break down and running of the fair. Main duties include running the cash registers at the fair. You do not need to be present every day at the fair but we ask that you try to make the commitment to be present for one full fair day.
